Embroidery Machine Take-Up Link Arm — Three-Point Precision Lever

Three-point take-up link arm that transfers motion from the cam or crankshaft to the take-up lever with minimal backlash. CNC-machined from high-strength alloy for dimensional accuracy and long service life. Direct replacement for worn or bent originals.

    Product Detail

Small part. Outsized impact on stitch quality.
The take-up link arm is the middleman in the thread control chain. It translates the rotary input from the cam into the oscillating motion that drives the take-up lever. Even slight wear in its pivot points introduces slack that shows up as inconsistent thread tension — and inconsistent tension means visible stitch variation across the design.
This replacement link arm eliminates that slack.
    Precision where it counts
•Three-point geometry. The main bearing seat (upper right), connecting pin (center top), and threaded mounting ear (lower left) form a stable triangular linkage that maintains exact motion ratios throughout the stroke.
•CNC-machined bores. Every hole is finished to tight tolerance on CNC equipment, ensuring zero play when mated with shafts and pins. No hand-fitting required.
•High-strength alloy. Aluminum or carbon steel construction balances light weight (low inertia at speed) with structural rigidity (no flex under load).
•Chamfered edges. All edges are deburred and chamfered for safe handling and clean fitment in tight spaces.
    Applications
Used in the take-up mechanism of computerized embroidery machines. Replaces worn, bent, or cracked link arms that cause timing issues or thread tension inconsistency.
Fitment: Verify the three-point spacing and bore diameters against your existing part before ordering.
